Goals: Simon 3, Rob 3, Forlan, Randy, Nick

 

We played a terrific game and although the opposition wasn’t the strongest our football was some of the best I have seen for some time from any Spartans team I have seen. Several goals were of the highest order, Aidan’s strike from 25 yards out was truly sublime hitting the top right corner will require some beating for the goal of the season. Simon’s volley from a terrific cross from Forlan on the right was right up there with the best and was another brilliant goal. Nick also chipped in with an amazing header from his first touch with an another cross on the right. It seemed we could do little wrong on a stunning display that could possibly leave major scars on the BOC players for some time.

 

Everyone played well the defence was solid throughout and our midfield was dominate, going forward we looked very dangerous. Congratulations to Rob and Simon for their hat tricks and was great to see Randy getting on the score sheet after being in the wilderness for a while a bit like his shorts. David’s debut was very promising and looks like another excellent addition to the side.

 

Long way to go but on this display I certainly wouldn’t want to be playing us anytime soon. However next week is a new game and stronger team so let’s not get too ahead of ourselves just yet there still loads of games to go.

 

Man of Match to Simon who was totally dominate upfront just narrowly beating the other hat trick man Rob.
