Our third league game for Soho and a tough time and day to get a team out but special thanks to everyone who made the effort. This will be noted for future matches. Special, special thanks to Henry Vera, Nadeem, Lionel and Forlan for bringing his friend Zhang.

We had the bare 12 at  kick off Pat in goal, defence of Sam, Henry, Tony Tsai and Sanj, Midfield of Nadeem, Tom, Nathan and Lionel, upfront was George and Forlan.
The 1st half was a little slow for us, tackles were lightweight and we lost out on headers. However, our passing game was relatively good and we looked organized. The opposition had the better of the play we unfortunately went down 1 – 0 just before the break.

At half time we regroup. Marc is on for Nadeem and we decide to be more positive in the 2nd half. This half was end to end and we were the better team with Forlan and Nathan going close on numerous occasions. We then get hit on the break and a massive deflection off Lionel gives them a 2 – 0 lead. Zhang comes on for George. We get a penalty which is not converted and they score with the last kick of the game. The 3 – 0 scoreline is flattering to the opposition. However, given our small numbers, the horrible pitch and the usual shambolic refereeing it was good to see everyone put the effort in. It was one of those days. Better luck next time.
