The win took as top of the league for a few hours until Maccabi beat Burger Republic 8-nil to regain the lead by 1 point. We play Maccabi in the league in a few weeks which could be a title decider however there are 3 teams behind as still in with a chance so no slip ups.

 

We now have 7 wins in a row, undefeated in the last 8 and while Forlan’s 4th hatrick helps contributing to the the 2nd highest # goals scored in our division – the defense has been doing a solid job at the back with 8 clean sheets this season and the 3rd best defense in our division.

 

Next match is a QF outing against 3rd division side ABC who are currently 6th – so a great chance to go through to the Semi-Finals.
