Goal: Nick

A big squad out for the 3rd match of the season with us looking for the 1st win of the season. Unlike the previous match we had a brief warm up and started the game on time. 4-1-4-1 as usual with us starting with Vera in Goal, defence of Stef, Terry, Jason and Chi, midfield of sanj, sisk, J Lo, hao and Cowley with Tevez up front. We looked very solid and our passing game was at times excellent but we didn’t manage to score and unfortunately Jason and Sanj both busted ankles at centre back. Little David did well in the middle when he came on and Tony Choi was solid at centre back. In short we looked in total control with everyone playing well in the 1st half.

The second half was more nail biting with the opposition having the occasional dangerous break. We finally went to 4-4-2 and the story could not have been written better with Nick Pal bundling through and smashing the ball into the roof of the net after and outside of the foot special from Chi. 1-0 game over, come on Nite Spartans!

Ed came on and looked sharp on the left and upfront, Big Dave did well on the right on debut. Everyone had a very good game but the men of the match award goes to "Team Scotland – Stef, Chi and Nick Pal". We wished Nick the very best of luck in the UK and had one of the largest nights in living memory. Great effort from everyone to get to the brew house who on Tuesday have given us another year’s sponsorship.

Next game is against Wing Lam (who are similar to us, so tough game) on Friday 6th November at 9pm in Tuen Mun. J Lo and myself are away so Patrick Mansfield will manage with Jeff as assistant manager. Please email Patrick directly if you are keen to play.

Cheers, good luck

Strength and honor!
