Spartans claimed their second pre-season trophy, as we followed on from the fantastic result securing the YYL 9’s Plate last week, by winning the inaugural Inter-Pub tournament.

In a rain sodden first game, we spurned a few chances to come away with a 0-0 draw against Boca. In the tournament decider, we beat a very strong GAS team 1-0 courtesy of a goal keeping error. However, Matt kept his cool to slot home the winner. Well done to all the showed up.

 

 

 

This Sunday is our last pre-season game before the season opener the following Sunday. This will be a stern test against a very good Division One team.
