Well played guys a hard fought win against a tough opposition on a very difficult bouncy hard pitch. We started off with Carl having a great chance but thwarted by their keeper heroics. Then they had a great chance to go one up but there player somehow missed. The game continued back and forth with both teams having chances. Our first goal came curtsey of a Flabbo break on the right who beat his man and squared it in the middle for H for a simple tap in. SClub 7 responded well and from a break on their left they beat the offside trap for their player to equalize.  A few changes with Mike and Alan coming on in midfield, we saw out the half against strong opposition with both teams having chances to take the lead. 

The second half was a rugged affair with challenges flying everywhere. The winning goal came from a piece of individual brilliance by Steve G. He beat about 10 players who were trying to take him down, he took a shot and the ball rebounded to H who drove it at the keeper but somehow had enough for it to carry over the line. We closed the hatches after that and apart from some academy award diving from our opposition in our box we saw out the rest of the game for a terrific win.

Everyone played their hearts out and would be difficult to isolate anyone but I thought our defence and keeper had outstanding games. MOM for mine shared with Thomas D and Dan who were rocks at the back, closely followed by Keith and Chi along with Sanju.
