Grass pitch with some patch muddy parts weather with a little drizzle.

 

The game was split into 3x 25min halves. Starting lineup Chi in goals with Thomas D (LB) Pablo & Colin (CB) Skurno (RB) Oz (LM) Tom R & Sebastian (CM) Blacky (RM) Cowley & Nick (FW). Subs Hao, Tang (spelling), Chris, Patrick

 

 

Every one played a great 25 mins and combined well and dominated throughout and from the start. Good goals from Cowley and Nick. Great teamwork around with Tom and Sebastian combining well. Our passing was superior in this half and it looks if we really want the ball and play it. The defense was solid and I think I only touched the ball twice. About to get the kettle on and Mcvities open before the whistle went. First 25 mins finished 2:0 We could have scored more. 

 

Second half change with Patrick and newbies on pitch. Hao on the right Skurno in goals. Replacing Nick. Oz and Blacky and Sebastian. The Japs chaps were a bit more organized this half but our defense was solid and did a good job to ensure a draw.

 

Third half another change so everyone get a chance to play. We gave away a penalty, Skurno cleared and unfortunately it come off Oz arm in our box. Hao in goals could’nt svae this one unfortunatley and the score line 2:1 Soho Spartans. Then in true Spartan style we were determine to come back ( against the odds of up teen offsides against us by the ref). Finally Cowley came through on the right and floated a lovely cross for Patrick to slot a goal. Score 3-1. Then due to a concentration lapse, the opposition we were caught off guard and let one of their forwards in the box to score a goal; 3:2.

 

This was the final score line Good game around best 11 was first 25 mins. Well done! lads for a good preseason and for turning up in the rain.
